The work of OCEAN.net focuses on experimental design in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design
OCEAN.net was initially founded in 1994 as a collaborative and interdisciplinary network focusing on research by design in architecture and urban design. From 1998 to 2008 OCEAN operated as a experimental design practice under the name OCEAN NORTH. From 2008 to 2019 OCEAN operated as a design research association. In 2020 OCEAN.net relaunched in its original format as a design network.
